Soundfun Mirai Speaker eCommerce Website

Full eCommerce website for US Expansion Launch

The Challenge

As Mirai Speaker prepared for its US launch ahead of CES, the team needed a new English-language website that could clearly communicate the product’s unique value: a dialogue-enhancing soundbar designed specifically for people with hearing challenges.

With strong traction in Japan, the goal was to translate that success into a site tailored to the US market — while building trust, driving conversions, and standing out in a crowded audio category dominated by big-name competitors. The site needed to be live before November 2024, include a working checkout, and support paid ad campaigns launching shortly after.

The Solution

I led the UX/UI design and creative direction for a 10-page eCommerce site that positioned Mirai Speaker as a dialogue-enhancing solution — not just another soundbar. Working closely with developers, we built a streamlined checkout experience and mobile-first design tailored for older users.

I collaborated with the digital marketing team to align the site with paid ad efforts, continuously iterating on landing pages to improve conversion. The site launched ahead of CES 2024, setting the stage for Mirai’s US debut.

I introduced a soft, rounded design approach to make the site feel more approachable, while working closely with the Customer Service team to continuously update key sections based on customer needs.”

We designed a streamlined checkout with address search and flexible payment options — tailored to the needs and behaviors of an older demographic.
